 Portugal on the radar of internacional investors

The "Doing Business 2017" publication of the World Bank positions Portugal in the 25th place (among 190 economies) of the "Ease of doing business" ranking and in the 12th place of the EU, being the South European country the best positioned.

According to the recent EY`s "Attractiveness Survey Portugal 2017" study, 2016 was the year with the largest number of foreign investment projects in Portugal, with the country on the radar of international investors, registering above-average investment intentions and is expected to increase its attractiveness. Among the main factors pointed out by the companies surveyed, as very / reasonably attractive, are: stability of the social climate, labor costs, local labor skills, telecommunications infrastructures, potential for productivity increase, and transport and logistics infrastructures.
